Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal.
  2. Once the mustard seeds start to pop and the dals turn golden brown, add the dry red chillies and asafoetida.
  3. Add turmeric powder and roasted peanuts and mix well.
  4. Add rice and mix well until all the ingredients are well combined.
  5. Add salt and lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Serve hot.
