Method
- Wash the rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.

- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and green chilies and sauté for a minute.
- Add the soaked rice and mix well.
- Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste.
- Cover the pressure cooker with a lid and cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
- Let the pressure release naturally and open the lid.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
