Method

- Transfer the urad dal batter into a mixing bowl.

- After fermentation, mix the batter well and add water if needed to adjust the consistency.
- Grease the idli plates with oil and pour the batter into each mold.
- Steam the idlis for about 10-12 minutes or until they are fully cooked.
- Remove the idlis from the mold using a spoon or knife.
- Serve hot with sambar or chutney.
