  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Schezwan sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

Equipment

  • Large wok or frying pan
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Method

  1. Wash and soak the Basmati rice, Brown rice, and Wild rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the rice in a pot or rice cooker with the required amount of water and salt.
  3. Once the rice is cooked, spread it on a tray and let it cool.
  4. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and add the chopped garlic. Saute for a few seconds.
  5. Add the chopped vegetables and saute for 5-7 minutes on high flame.
  6. Add the Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  7. Add the cooked rice and mix well with the vegetable mixture. Fry for 5-7 minutes on high flame.
  8. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
