Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Large bowl
  • Large pot or rice cooker

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil and sesame oil in a large pot or rice cooker over medium heat.
  3. Add the blended paste to the pot and stir until fragrant, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add 4 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  5. Add 2 cups of rice and stir to combine.
