Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt.

- Take a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a small ball, about the size of a golf ball.
- Roll the ball in cornstarch to coat it.
- Place the ball in the steamer and repeat until all the mixture is used up.
- Cover the steamer and steam the rice cakes for 20 minutes.
- Remove the rice cakes from the steamer and place them on a plate or baking sheet to cool.
- Serve the rice cakes once they have cooled down.
