Method
1. Heat a heavy bottom pan on medium heat and add ghee to it. 2. Once the ghee is melted, add grated coconut to it and sauté for 2-3 minutes. 3. Add grated jaggery and water to the pan and stir well. 4. Keep stirring the mixture until the jaggery melts and the mixture becomes thick. 5. Add rice flour, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt to the pan and mix well. 6. Keep stirring the mixture until it forms a dough-like consistency. 7. Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool down. 8. Once the mixture is cool enough to handle, take small portions of it and roll them into balls. 9. Place the ladoos on a plate and allow them to cool completely. 10. Store the ladoos in an airtight container.
Notes
- Make sure to continuously stir the mixture to avoid any lumps. - The dough should not be too dry or too wet. It should be easy to shape into balls. - You can also add nuts like almonds or cashews to the mixture for added flavor.
