Method

  4. Take the murukku press and select the star-shaped plate. Fill the press with the prepared dough.
  5. Press the dough into the hot oil in a circular motion to form a spiral shape. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove the fried murukku using a skimmer or slotted spoon and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel.
  7. Repeat the same process for the remaining dough.
  8. Once the murukku is cooled, store it in an airtight container.
