Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Chana Dal
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Peanuts
  • Curry Leaves
  • Coriander Leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Take a non-stick pan and add oil to it. Heat the oil.
  2. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add urad dal, chana dal, and peanuts. Saute them for a minute.
  4. Add chopped onions and green chillies. Saute them till the onions turn translucent.
  5. Add curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
  6. Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste. Bring it to a boil.
  7. Add Anil Rice Sevai to the boiling water and stir well. Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Turn off the flame and cover the pan. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  9. After 5 minutes, remove the cover and fluff the Anil Rice Sevai with a fork.
  10. Serve hot with coconut chutney, sambar, or any other side dish of your choice.

Notes

  • You can add vegetables like carrots, peas, and beans to make the dish more nutritious.
  • You can also add grated coconut to enhance the flavor of the dish.
  • Make sure to rinse the Anil Rice Sevai in cold water before using it to remove any excess starch.
