Ingredients

Method

1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. 2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another minute. 4. Add the can of diced tomatoes and tomato paste to the skillet and stir to combine. 5. Add the Creole seasoning, dried thyme, dried oregano, bay leaf, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine. 6. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for about 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. 7. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet and stir to combine. 8. Cook the shrimp in the sauce for about 5 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through. 9. Remove the bay leaf from the skillet and discard. 10. Serve the shrimp creole over a bed of cooked white rice.

- To save time, you can use pre-cooked shrimp in this recipe. - This recipe can be made spicier by adding more Creole seasoning or a dash of hot sauce. - You can also add other vegetables to the dish, such as okra or diced tomatoes.
